WHAT I DID ON MY SUMMER BREAK

MANDY BYERLY

Mandy worked for Chevron and lived on the Romeo platform in the Gulf of Mexcio. Her summer projects included collecting information about vessels that vent any gas in the Bay Marchand field, collecting 25 samples from new wells in Bay Marchand and shipping them to the lab for analysis, and completing gas lift design for a constant flow valve.

MIKE PULLIAM

Mike worked for Cimarex Energy Co. in southeast Texas this summer. The first photo is from a location with six sets of production facilities and some wells that are pumped by Rotaflex Pumping Units in Liberty county, Texas. The next pic is of two work over rigs on a foggy morning. Mike went on a fishing trip off the coast of Galveston and took a picture of a platform, but it isn't one of Cimarex's. Check out the big kingfish he caught - no fish tales here!
