SPE Student Chapter Field Trip - April 10-11, 2008

The SPE Student Chapter went on a field trip to Decatur Taxes, April 10-11, 2008. The trip was sponsored by Devon Energy, located in Oklahoma City. The students observed one of the largest gas processing plants in the nation which processes Devon's gas from the Barnett Shale. The students toured a Helmerich and Payne drilling rig, a perforation and frac site with Halliburton and Schlumberger, and Devon's frac water treatment facility.
