Graduate's Dinner - May 2006
The SPE Student Chapter hosted a dinner for the graduating seniors and graduate students on Friday, May 5th at the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks, OK. The guest speaker, Norman Hyne, Ph.D., is a a Certified Petroleum Geologist and Professor of Petroleum Geology in TU's Continuing Engineering & Science Education Department. Dr. Hyne presented a very interesting and informative slide show, "The Ida E. Glenn well and the discovery of the Glenn Pool Oil Field - The single, greatest decisive moment in the history of Oklahoma."
