Bixby PreEngineering TU Visit - February 2006
Friday, February 17, 2006 - Students from Bixby High School's PreEngineering class (Derek Beller, Teacher) toured the Drilling & Research facilities located on TU's North Campus. The tour was led by faculty, staff, and graduate students. The students learned about various aspects of drilling, fluid flow, and separation. They expecially enjoyed the indoor portions of the tour as it was very cold that day! Afterward, the group headed back to the main campus and joined Professor Mohan Kelkar, Department Chairman and Williams Endowed Chair Professor, at the Allen Chapman Activity Center for lunch and a brief overview of the job of a petroleum engineer.
