Stuart L. Scott
Dr. Stuart Scott, Associate Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University, was awarded the ASME International Henry R. Worthington Medal at the ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Petroleum Division annual "Industry Leadership Luncheon" earlier this month in Houston. The medal was given to Scott for "eminent achievement in the evolving field of multiphase pumping, which includes contributions to education, technology transfer and research, including the development of the flagship USA research program on multiphase pumping." He holds a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering, a master's in computer science and a doctorate in petroleum engineering - all from The University of Tulsa. In addition to the medal, the award provides a $1000 scholarship donation to the Petroleum Engineering Department at The University of Tulsa. |
